Hand is the feel of a design when you run your hand over the printed area of the garment.

Types of hand a printed design can have include:

  • No Hand (Dye Sublimation, Water Based Screen Printing, Discharge Screen Printing)
  • Soft Hand (Discharge Screen Printing, DTG, Inkjet Transfers for Light Garments)
  • Light Hand (Plastisol Screen Printing with Fashion Soft additives, DTG)
  • Heavy Hand (Plastisol Screen Printing, Inkjet Transfers for Dark Garments)
